I think i finally overdid it. I guess i'm too much to take, i'm too difficult. It might all be over, but I just want to say, I still love you. I wasn't the perfect bf or anything near. If i can't be, i hope i can be the perfect friend.

After so much complains about this blog having spiderwebs and also darling persuaded me to update, its time for one.

Not that I abandoned the blog.. i really forgot my login for a period of time ( the login says use gmail but i actually signed up using my hotmail and it worked ).

Anyway! Today 29th Jan, I had my first Stingray dinner with my darling. ( and she had her 'La La's ) After having disappointing stingrays for so long, this one's finally taste superly delicious. And also, I tried lala for the first time and it doesn't taste as bad as it looks.. haha. Kinda tastes a little like crab. Store 49 was the one we went... and the uncle said that he will take photo of me if he sees me with another girl.. haha. Too bad that wont happen =) .. oh and he also said that i've got the best girl.. well he is right ;)
After dinner, we had a unique way to digest.. haha

Right... so that marks our very first Stingray/lala dinner together .. our favourite dishes.

Time to fill in the blanks over the past few weeks of MIA..

Went on my very first trip to Malaysia for as long as i can remember.. yup went Kukup with her.
The whole trip was like so fun.. i got to know her friends ( they are all so nice people ) and i also got to know her more =) . Food was pretty decent.. seafood was fresh though the fishy smell around isn't exactly refreshing. Spent most of the time at the rented 'chalet', mostly eating and sleeping.. haha. ( life is so meaningful ). Unfortunately the day past so quick and we had to return.. ( and also encounted some problems passing the custom at Singapore and caused everyone to wait ). Really look forward to a next trip with her =)

I know this post is getting long.. but i just want to write about all my memories that I wont forget so here goes more ..

Christmas and New Year passed.. Its actually my first happy one.. finally having my dream come true. Darling celebrated christmas with me and i really really can't forget that day. 20 years and it finally happened.. haha i'm such a christmas person =) those decorations, lights, songs and moods.. they just make me so happy.. and this time theres my special person to fufill my dream.
Of course, not forgetting having spent it with my best classmates/friends melvo and ryno.. never fail to countdown together.. it was fun =)

Alright its getting late, i shall fill in more when i have more energy. Just an update on my attachment :

Things gotten lighter at Eternal Minds especially after Tiangyong's mom did justice to us =) we are still working quite alot but no extreme OT and we even managed to get a saturday off. The mercedes project is pretty much up.. leaving only changes to be made here and there. Honestly speaking, it isn't quite exactly 'photo realistic' for the scene that i worked on most of the time. The other scenes look pretty decent and at some points, i can't tell if its even fake. But i must say, the 4 of us interns, being able to handle this project.. its an extremely huge achievement.. We are actually comparing standards with Digital Domain ( like omg.. its hollywood kind of studio ). Not only are we so short handed, we are just students.

Anyway, its like 15-16 days away from the end of this attachment. Can't wait for it to end so i can spend more time with her. Oh and Daniel ( the boss ) mentioned that if things go well, we'll have 6th feb - 13th feb a holiday.. so that leaves less than 10 days of work ? yay =) and i so want to spend my cny with her.. i really want to.

Oh theres just so much to say, but i guess thats it for today.. Time to turn in.. and yes.. I love you lots my dear =) even if you found my blog i wont hide saying that.. ( just hope you dont check! haha )

I put the date as the post title.. why? Because it is the date I'll remember forever. You can say its the biggest day of my life.. or rather.. it was a combination of 7th and 8th. I've never felt this way before and right now, I'm still feeling it.

A new chapter of my life has begun, things will change.. and as i see it, my dreams are starting to become reality. Things that could only happen in my imagination, and things that I wished for so much but kept causing pain instead.. they've made me stronger in a way and right now.. they are slowly coming true.

Theres just too many things happening around.. especially for the past week. As attachment gets busier.. plus one of my best friend is going army next friday.. so kinda spending lots of time with him.. Mahjong/pool/slack.. and next wednesday is my other best friend's birthday so lots of planning too.. ( the 3 of us usually hang out together ) .. therefore, i've been home so late like 2am in the morning and leaving home at 7am.

So much time out, but how come I feel away from melvo ryno kaicho vikno! Just bear with me for this 2 weeks.. =) forgive me for now!

Talk so much but not yet about the most important thing! Yes I'm officially attached! ( probably guessed as much from the top ) ..

And I would say.. I love you forever, Wan Ting =D
You'll be the only one for me.. that is burnt into my heart.

long time no update.. ( as complained by ryno )

true.. been having a very packed week.. just my previous post i'm talking about which company i'll be going for attachment.. now 1 week have already passed in ETERNAL MINDS ( orientation rather ). anyway.. i've been fighting hard for sufficient sleep these days and not being able to sleep in the company is really a challenge to me..

alright other than having a very unique boss ( car dance on the merc.. wth! ), and that i got lectured for my inexperience using the DSLR, attachment went kinda slacky.. ( quake / dota ).
Hopefully things will go well when the porject starts.. and hope that i can keep up with the boss's expectations.

i played mahjong ( gambling real money.. so unlike me ) . Felt kinda guilty because i've promised not to gamble. Though we played very small. I kinda agreed to play cause i wanted the fun of it.. and it indeed was. But anyway, because of mahjong, i've been home so late in the night and have been leaving home early morning. which means... no sleep! and also .. less time with parents ( or none ) . great.. another thing to make me feel more guilty.

March next year, we plan to go japan for a graduation kinda bagpack. Unfortunately, due to sudden changes with certain $tuff.. and some other factors.. its kinda in a complicated situation and i'm having headaches over it. Though i know melvo is having a bigger headache. Hopefully it'll be settled soon.

Finally, i think my phone bill this month is so gonna blow. sent dozens of smses these days.. and as much as i like it, part of me is also feeling guilty towards certain parts.. kinda a complicated thingy so wont go into it. oh yea, and today i had a whole day of outdoor sports.. and i'm toasted.. whole body's red and i think i'm going to look like an indian soon... then WT will be soo happy.. haha..

OH YEAH, and after all those boring texts, lets have the very first picture of the whole blog! and its definitely one that is sooo very entertaining. Dont laugh too much.. its special .. haha

Monday was really a 10/10 day. 19 Nov.. I'll always remember this day!
Not much to write here but just that I had a really great time.
Fun over, time to start work. Still not looking forward to attachment but really looking forward to another 10/10 day.. or 11 lets go! hahaha.

Oh yea, and Diablo 2 is really consuming us all.. reduce play time! Sleep early for the win!

Here's what have been going on my mind :

Why dont the lecturers allow us to choose where we want to go? Yes, they may argue that its not fair or whatsoever. But actually they have to realise.. not everyone wants to be hardworking. So here is what I know now..

Sparky entertainment - High level of hardwork and knowledge..

Black magic - Another high level of hardwork plus work during weekends every fortnight

Eternal minds - OT during project deadlines, possibly work during weekends

FYP - Own time own target

So i was thinking, why dont just give the 'better' places to those smarter/maya experts. As for slackers like me, FYP again sounds good.. at least i can stay in school and do my stuff.. and also take driving.. I'm sure there isn't enough space for everyone in attachment.. or at least send me to eternal minds so I can enjoy paid leave.. LOL

I've cleaned up the scene with the final version of the terran. Get the latest file from me in msn. This new file consist of :

-Proper naming groups ( such as temp_tonardo , temp_mole )
-Properly Layered ( you can now turn anything that you dont want to see off just in a click )
-No lag ( Playbacks fine on my PC so it shld be not a problem for anyone )

How to use :

-Import your work
- Resize and position based on the temporary ones already there
- Make adjustments and test
- Hide/Delete the old ones
- Replace the objects currently assigned to the layers to what you've imported ( eg, the new mole.. after importing, assigned it to the MOLE layers.. )
- Keep the scene clean.

Here are the shots that each person is being assigned to. Any doubts just ask me.
Other effects can come later, please prioritize :
1) Import your own work into the scene and make sure it works fine.
2) Animation completed ( especially the mole animation which also includes the digging .. )
Lastly , other visual effects such as particle collisions and enhancements. <- dont do this without completing 1 and 2.

Vik :

1)Medium Shot of desert with a cactus covering ¼ of the screen and the focus is on a map stuck on the cactus. Background will be blurred.
2)Close shot of mole walking and panting ( showing tired look ). Mole suddenly looks forward and turns head up.

13) First person view of locust king looking at the mole’s path ( created as the mole moves underground and pushing the sand up ).
14) Front shot of the locust king casting a spell. Camera rotates when the spell particle flies off the hands and goes into the ground.

17) First person view of locust king spotting the mole’s escape and going after it
18) Front shot of locust king casting yet another spell. Camera follows when spell particle goes towards the surrounding area of the mole.
19) Camera shakes
20) Back view of mole while camera is still shaking.

Zili

3)Camera will rotate to the mole’s first person view and showing the mirage.
4)Front view of mole running and jumping into the mirage.
5)Medium shot of 2 locusts playing when suddenly a shadow starts to surface
6)Close shot of mole still in mid air and going past the mirage and realizing that it was only an illusion. Camera follows till the mole lands on locustjr.

7)When mole lifts itself, camera zooms closer to the locust jr then rotates to an extreme close view of the locust king standing nearby.

Our overall project at this moment progress :

Modeling - nearly 100% done ( left terran and other touching ups to do )
Animation - 30% ( Parts involving animation are the mole and locust swarm only )
VFX - 60% ( Fur - 80%? , Mirage-80%? , Locust Swarm fx-50% , Tonardo-80%? , Lava-50%? , EarthSplit-0% )
Texturing/Lighting - 20%
Rendering - 0%

Everything up to texturing and lighting should have been done by tomorrow but everyone progress is so bad ( including mine ) so please buck up. You dont only do your vfx for the whole project.. you still need to do your shots after you are done.. please note this.

I hope at least all the vfx can be completed by wednesday latest thrusday.. the weekends must be burnt for the animation and doing of each person's shot.

K this is the first time I'm blogging.. right now, this blog will be used to keep the progress of the project so that everyone can be updated and also, know of the current progress and not lag behind. I'll be posting updates frequently here but i also need to receive updates from everyone so email me or msg me your progress often. It helps the whole team.
